Apartments

Kiisa A has six bedrooms with two double beds and six single beds. Kiisa B has five bedrooms with two double beds and four single beds.

Location

Spectacular views of Kiilopää and the Saariselkä village, 70 meters below the Kaunispää summit and 140 meters above the village. Close to roads leading to the summit, ski trails, snowmobile trails, and a large toboggan run. From Kiisa, you can ski down with alpine skis and snowboards to the lifts and back from the summit.

Northern Lights Room

Admire the northern lights right from the bedroom and enjoy the comfort of a motorized bed.

The Northern Lights Room is available in both apartments, each equipped with two single motorized beds.

Billiards Room

Relax after an active day with billiards, table football, or other games.

Sauna

Enjoy the gentle heat of the sauna. Both holiday apartments have comfortable sauna facilities.

Ski Maintenance Room

Kiisa is a high-quality two-apartment house

Kiisa is a modern and well-equipped semi-detached house covered with log paneling – a two-apartment holiday cottage located at Katajatie 5, 99830 Saariselkä.

Kiisa enables high-quality yet affordable accommodation for holidaymakers in Lapland on the southern slope of Kaunispää in Saariselkä, near the summit. The apartments feature internet access, washing machine and drying cabinets.

Kiisa is rated four stars .

The apartments are suitable for both corporate and private use. The living areas of Kiisa A and Kiisa B are 160 m² and 130 m², respectively. There are a total of 11 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms in the apartments. Therefore, accommodation is available for up to 26 guests. The total floor area of Kiisa holiday cottage is approximately 330 m². The apartments can also be combined by opening the doors between the living rooms.

Kiisa was completed in early 2006 and was expanded in 2010 and 2022. A two-story utility building was constructed in the yard, with a warm game and meeting room (35 m²) on the ground floor.

Kiisa's furnishings are easily adjustable

The furnishings of the rooms in the holiday building Kiisa can be easily adjusted according to your needs. Each apartment has a sauna for 4–6 people, a loft, outdoor equipment storage, and firewood storage on the northern terrace. There are double soundproofed doors between the living rooms of the apartments. Each apartment has two carports. There are 4 car heating points. The billiards/game/meeting room and ski maintenance room are shared.

Kiisa is most comfortable for groups of two, up to 8 and 11 people, but it is also suitable for, for example, two groups of 12 and 14 people, or one group of 26 people.

The warm ski maintenance room available for both apartments features a waxing bench and a three-square-meter storage room for each apartment.

The game and meeting room available for both apartments feature:

The cover of the billiard table turns it into a conference table for 12 people or alternatively a serving table. The room can accommodate 26 participants for meetings.
